It’s hard to imagine we’re already one quarter through the year. We have started the year with several successful events and classes in Encino, Pleasanton, Cupertino, Monterey, and Santa Cruz. We have lots more coming including classes in West San Gabriel and San Diego, and networking meetings in Napa, Temecula, Carlsbad and Van Nuys. There are more classes and networking events getting added to the calendar so check back on this website or contact us.
Congratulations and welcome to our newest CRS designees for January, February, and March.
I would like to acknowledge our four wonderful Platinum Sponsors for 2018. JCP NHD, provider of top of the line Natural Hazard Disclosure Reports, APM, American Pacific Mortgage, which has over 200 offices throughout CA, Old Republic Home Protection, who offer Home Warranties for both sellers and buyers and MLS Listings, Inc, one of the major MLS providers in CA. Each of them provides excellent services to assist us in our businesses and I encourage you to support them. They generously enable us to offer excellent classes and networking opportunities for us. As an added bonus, JCP/NHD is currently offering a special discount to our RRC members and friends which is good until May 31, 2018. By using the code 2018CRS10 when you place your order, you will receive a $10 discount for your client on the cost of their report. Please feel free to share this discount code with all your friends!
You are all invited to attend our California RRC Networking Event being held at the CAR Meetings in Sacramento on May 1st at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in the Tofanelli Room from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. We will be hosting wine and appetizers. Starting last year, California RRC has been holding a networking reception at each CAR Meeting. Even if you are not attending the CAR Meetings, you are welcome to join us at these networking events.
My final comment is about networking and referrals. Members sometimes question why they are not receiving more referrals. I ask, “Are you participating in what is being offered?” The value of getting involved is you form new relationships, get opportunities to network and create friendships with other CRS designees and RRC members. When it comes time to make a referral, your name will come to mind. Are you sending referrals to other members? Are you volunteering your time to participate? These all help create an awareness of you.
