All active real estate licensees must complete 12 hours of approved continuing education coursework, including any LREC mandatory course topic(s), each year to be eligible to renew their license for the next year. Continuing education courses are available through LREC-certified real estate vendors. A list of LREC-certified vendors, courses, and course schedules can be found on StateReporting.com under “Course Lookup.”

Mandatory course topic(s) must be completed through an approved LREC-certified real estate vendor prior to license renewal as part of the 12-hour continuing education requirement. These courses should not be confused with similar courses of the same name. Be specific and request a 2019 mandatory course topic(s).
Associate brokers and brokers must take the above-listed mandatory courses and four hours of Commission-approved electives.
Salespersons must take the above-listed mandatory course and eight hours of Commission-approved electives.
Roster Required: Yes
Roster Process: Rosters are emailed every Tuesday. LREC education records are not obtained from the course completion certificates issued to licensees by education providers but rather from course completion reports submitted to the LREC by those providers. Licensees need not send those certificates unless the LREC requests them. Rosters must be submitted by the 15th of the following after course completion. **If you need or want the roster submitted earlier than the scheduled date, there is a $10 rush fee for that service.**
LA Pre - Rosters are now to be sent Monthly. They want each month of completions on one roster. Will be sent first business day for previous month.
