The CRS Annual Business Meetings are held in conjunction with the NAR Conference & Expo so CRS members active on NAR committees or with state lobbying initiatives can participate in both meetings and take advantage of the NAR trade exposition and other programs.

FREE CRS Education Sessions
 
The Council will be presenting complementary CRS Education Sessions at the HIlton Orlando
Thursday November 3rd from 1:00 - 5:00pm and on Friday from 9:00-12:00pm.
 
CRS Night Out
 
Come soar the skies with FL CRS on Coca-Cola’s Eye of Orlando followed by Tapa Toro (ALL INVITED $97)! The shuttle bus will depart the Convention Center at 6:15 and again at 6:30. Shuttle will continue throughout evening transporting until 11:00 p.m. Indulge in your choice of a beer/wine/or cider flight then take a ride on the Eye to soar the skies of Orlando while enjoying a full pour of your favorite drink. After the ride, walk a very short distance to Tapa Toro where you will enjoy a buffet and Flamenco Dancing. Also included is one free drink ticket for beer/wine/sangria. WHAT SHOULD MY ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE DATE BE?   The meetings start off with a CRS Member Welcome Reception the evening of Wednesday, November 2nd and conclude with the CRS Inaugural Program Installation and Awards on Saturday, November 5th.
     
CAN I BE REACHED AT THE HOTEL BY PHONE:   Only if you have a reservation at the hotel.  If not, the quickest way for someone to reach you is via your personal cell phone.
     
WHERE SHOULD I SLEEP:  

CRS will be headquarted at the Hilton Orlando

     
HOW DO I GET TO THE HOTEL:  

If you are flying in the closest airport would be the Orlando International Airport (MCO).  The airport is approximately 15 minutes from the hotel.

     
SHOULD I CHECK MY HOTEL CONFIRMATION:   Yes!  Do not wait to make sure that everything is correct on the confirmations.  It is so easy to key in the wrong arrival or spell a name incorrectly.  Please verify the following details to assure a trouble free check-in:

  1.  Is your name spelled correctly?
  2.  Are your arrival and departure dates correct?
  3.  Is your city and state correct?  Is it spelled correctly?
  4.  Are your accommodations as requested?

WHY DOESN'T THE HOTEL HAVE MY CONFIRMATION:   Experient will create a rooming list from your registration form which will be sent to the hotel approximately 30 days prior to the event.  Upon receipt of the rooming list from Experient the Hilton or your hotel of choice will send you a reservation confirmation.  It is a very good idea to check your confirmation to enusre it is correct.
     
WHERE CAN I PICK UP MY BADGE:   You will pick up badge at the NAR Registration onsite .  You will be able to pick up your badge and any tickets you may have for any of the special events.
     
DO I NEED A BADGE:   You will need a badge to participate in any of the events scheduled at the convention center.  All conference attendees need a badge for admittance in the sessions and the expo.  If you prefer to only attend the expo, you can purchase a badge at the convention center.  If you are not attending any of the sessions or the expo you do NOT need a badge.
     
WHAT CAN I DO OR SEE:  

Orlando has a lot to do and see.  You  need to make sure you check out all the restaurants and shopping Orlando has to offer.  There are a variety of restaurants that you can stop in and try some of the local foods.

HOW DO I FIND MY MEETING ROOM:

  A schedule that includes the meeting room names will be provided closer to the event.

WHERE CAN I FIND A PLACE TO EAT:   You will not find a shortage of restaurants you can check out during your stay in Orlando 
     

HOW WILL I GET TO AND FROM THE CONVENTION CENTER:

  The Orlando Hilton is attached to the convention center.
     
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR:  

Dress at the meetings is business casual, however should you find some free time to visit some of the better restaurants you may need business or "after five" attire and men will need to wear jackets and ties.  Do not forget comfortable shoes and a light jacket for the evening.

Be sure to bring a jacket or sweater into the meeting room as they tend to be chilly.

     
WHAT WILL THE TEMPERATURE BE LIKE:   The average temperatures in November are low 70's during the day and lower 50's in the evening.  Do not forget comfortable shoes, an umbrella and your sunglasses.
     
WILL I BE SAFE IN Orlando, FL:  

Avoid mishaps -- travelers have so much on their minds they forget to be "street smart" and are usually easy targets for crime.  STAY ALERT! 

1.  Do not walk anywhere by yourself.  Go out in groups whenever possible.
2.  Stay on the main streets.  Avoid dark side streets wherever possible.
3.  Do not wear your convention badges on the street.
