Maura Neill, CRS

Maura Neill, CRS, is a second-generation REALTOR® who combines her love for the industry with her passion for education. A CRS Designee since 2009, just three years after becoming a REALTOR®, Maura is currently a Director for the RRC Board of Directors and has previously served on numerous committees, including Membership Development, Strategic Planning, Finance, and numerous Presidential Advisory Groups; she is proud to have contributed volunteer hours to the recent growth and evolution of the Council.

Prior to becoming a REALTOR®, Maura was an educator, teaching for Florida State University and University of Phoenix in one of their first online programs. A self-proclaimed lifelong learner, she values RRC’s educational opportunities and is always on the lookout for places to expand her horizons. Maura is also a national speaker and instructor, in addition to continuing to serve her clients and work with her team on a day-to-day basis. Maura was the lead instructor and subject matter expert for NAR’s Military Relocation Professional Certification (MRP), and in 2018, Maura had the honor of serving as the chair of the NAR Federal Financing and Housing Policy Committee, which allowed her to work on the condo rules with FHA and directly with the VA on important legislation that affects the future of VA financing. In April 2019, she will be the first REALTOR® to keynote the Department of the VA Lender Conference and address VA lenders and veterans’ groups on the benefits and importance of VA financing.

Maura serves in leadership for both of her local associations, as well as a regional director and on the Executive Committee for the Georgia REALTORS®. A graduate of the Georgia REALTORS® Leadership Academy (class of 2009), NAR’s Leadership Academy (class of 2016), and the CRS Leadership Academy (class of 2013), she views the opportunity to give back and serve our profession as an honor and privilege and takes seriously the responsibilities that come with those leadership moments.

Maura has been named the Georgia CRS of the Year (2014) and the Atlanta REALTOR® of the Year (2015) and is a proud supporter of RPAC as a Platinum R Major Investor, a member of the 2017 class of the NAR RPAC Hall of Fame, and a member of President’s Circle. Maura lives in the metro Atlanta area, with her husband Ben, their beagles Charlie, Jarvis, and Bebe, and a cat who wishes to remain anonymous.
