Meet the Panel

Rod Russell is a Senior Wealth Manager for BNY Mellon Wealth Management. In this role, Rod works with high net worth individuals and families to address their investment and wealth management needs as they accumulate, preserve, and ultimately transfer their wealth into future generations or charities.

Rod has more than 14 years of experience in the financial services industry. Previously, Rod worked as an Executive Director and Client Advisor at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in both Chicago and New York. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Private Bank, Rod worked on the institutional side at Investment Consulting Services, LLC, where he advised on Taft Hartley Plans.

Kevin Rogers is a managing director for BNY Mellon Wealth Management’s Family Wealth Investment Advisor group in the Southwest region. In this role, he provides investment advice to individuals and families by creating tailored wealth management solutions to meet their investment, trust & estate, wealth planning and private banking needs.

Kevin joined the firm in 1999 and has more than 20 years of financial industry experience. Prior to his current role, Kevin was a vice president in the investment advisory group at the Bank of New York. He was also a senior wealth manager who worked directly with clients to address their investment and wealth management needs. Before that, Kevin was the director of Sanford C. Bernstein’s international portfolio management division.

Julie Alcala is a Senior Wealth Strategist for BNY Mellon Wealth Management. In this role, she works directly with clients to address their investment and wealth management needs.

Julie has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Julie works with high-net-worth families, business owners, corporate executives, foundations, and endowments in the review of investment and spending policies and wealth planning issues such as cash flow, risk planning, charitable planning, estate planning, and income tax planning. Her previous experience includes serving as the director of wealth planning for William Blair. Earlier in her career, she worked in public accounting at Deloitte and Andersen serving high-net-worth individuals.
