the effective use of delegation, coaching, and feedback when used in
combination clarifies expectations, improves performance, and increases morale
and motivation. This highly interactive course shows supervisors how to use
these tools to draw the best work from others without spending more time than
they have to spare. It outlines a simple framework of “best practices” and then
asks the participants to practice and apply that framework through scenarios
and class exercises.
Participants will be better positioned to:
- Set the stage for effective delegation with setting clear expectations and developing productive relationships.
- Recognize when and how to use feedback verse coaching techniques
- Address tricky, emotional, or repetitive situations more smoothly
- Build positive morale while motivating their teams and staff
